Honeymoon

 We went to the Bahamas for our Honeymoon! The Bahamas were absolutely beautiful and we can't wait to go back someday! The hotel was gorgeous and sat right on the beach.

The night before we left we stayed at The Peery Hotel downtown SLC.  It was such a quaint hotel and Ryan and Tenney upgraded us to the largest suite!  Daniel had the room decorated with roses and sitting on the bed was a present for me! Inside was a beautiful pearl necklace.  {he had given me a pearl bracelet the night before-- Matching Set} I thought it was so sweet of him and every time I wear the pearls I remember our wedding day!

Our flight left the next morning and we had a full day of traveling ahead of us.

This is before we left to SLC airport

Stopping to get lunch at Quiznos

After hours and hours of traveling we finally made it to the Bahamas!!!
 This is our hotel.  We stayed at the Sheraton.  Our room had a magnificent view of the ocean! It was seriously breathtaking.  I could have sat on the balcony for hours!
Our driver was so CRAZY! It is lucky we didn't lose our lives driving to the hotel!

Funny Story.  SO... We decided to go to one of the hotels featured and nicest restaurants on our first night.    We made reservations for dinner and when we walked in the host kept asking us if we were famous.  We just replied no and that we were on our honeymoon.  Our waiter overheard us telling the hostess that we were honeymooners and he said I am going to make your night extra special.
I didn't think much of it other than it was really sweet of them to be so nice to us.  As we get our salads the waiter brings us these glasses of champagne.  We felt too bad to tell the waiter that we didn't drink so we just said thank you and let the glasses sit there.

After dinner was over we were waiting for our bill and all that was on the table were these glasses of champagne.  At that point we were feeling awkward that they were just waiting for us to finish the glasses.  Suddenly we here this man singing {to the top of his lungs and I mean to the top of his lungs!} an old N*SYNC love song.
Around the corner we see our waiter carrying this large tray of decadent desserts.
{since this was the hotels featured restaurant the lobby looked down into where we were sitting.  There were probably 30 people above us watching our waiter sing to us.  There were flashes going off everywhere and about 6 people videotaping.}
Well you would think it was going to be a short and sweet song but it lasted for about 3 minutes.
{yet it felt like 20 minutes}
By the time he was finished, there were crowds applauding and cheering for us yelling congratulations and good wishes for our marriage.
The waiter said he felt bad that we didn't drink so he wanted to do something special for us, but he insisted that we still get a picture with our champagne glasses.
This was definitely a dinner I will never forget and it still makes me laugh at how embarrassed we were by all the attention we received from the crowd above us!

Karaoke Night at the Snack Shack

This day we went shopping downtown.  It was cool to see where all the cruise ships docked.  We ate at Sbarro's.  I don't love seafood so we stuck with mostly italian meals:)  I love my spaghetti!

Where the cruise ships dock! It was windy down by the ocean that day!
 This was the beach by our hotel! We loved just walking and talking along the shoreline!

We spent most of our days relaxing at the pool and getting tan!  Our favorite afternoon treats were pina coladas and strawberry daiquiris! Those helped us keep cool in the Bahama heat!

My view!  I wish I was there still!

We loved dressing up for dinner and walking around the patio.

On our last day we went to the Atlantis resort!  It reminded me of my dreams of a little girl because Mary Kate and Ashley went there for one of their movies! haha But Atlantis was so much fun and there is this HUGE lazy river where we killed about three hours going around and around in!  We also toured the aquariums and got an ice cream cone to share!

Yes that is Daniel flying into a shark tank!  He had the worst wedgie after going down this bad boy!  It was HILARIOUS!!!!

This was the biggest Manta Ray EVER! It was bigger than me!

After a fun day at Atlantis! Such a fun way to end an amazing vacation!

We had so much fun on our honeymoon and it was a fabulous start of our lives together! I can't wait to go back again someday!!!
